The Lord placed in my heart to develop Keeping God 1st Ministries to help reconcile all people to God through sharing the Word of God by way of Weddings & Commitment Ceremonies, Christian Biblical Counseling for singles, engaged and married couples, Teaching, Bible Studies, Christian Spoken Word Poetry, and Outreach Projects throughout the community. Keeping God 1st is a Non-Denominational Ministry. We are all one in Christ! I desire to encourage other's in living a Christ-centred life. I desire to network with other churches that have a similar heart towards all people and who share Christ love through outreach to their community. I understand many of us, may have been hurt by the voice of church, family and friends. Regardless of what you were told or how you were treated, God loves you unconditionally. You are His child through faith in Jesus Christ. John 3:16 (NIV) 1 John 4:20 I am intentionally radically inclusive, "Out and freely open" for Christ, welcoming all persons regardless of race, color, ancestry, age, gender, affectional orientation, and those who are specially abled. I celebrate the Creator's diversity! I Worship Christ! What I Believe!I Believe God is Love. (1 John 4:8) I Believe God's love endures forever. (Psalm 136) I Believe God never changes. (Malachi 3:6) I Believe That Jesus died for our sins and was raised from the dead. (Romans 8:34,1 1 Corinthians 15:3-4,1 Thessalonians 4:14) I Believe that salvation is available to all people through faith in Jesus Christ. (Romans 10:9-11,13) I Believe in the baptism in water by immersion in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of our sins. The Holy Spirit will then empower and equip believers for service, with the accompaniment of Supernatural Gifts. (Matthew 3:11, John 3:5) ( 1 Corinthians 12:8-10) I Believe in the literal second coming of Jesus Christ and that no one comes to God except through Jesus Christ. (John 14:6, 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18, Rev.19:11 -16, John 14:1 -3) I Believe that fellowship in the Kingdom of God is available for all people, regardless of age, race, nationality, orientation or gender identity, and they are welcome to be part of the church I Believe Jesus is seated at God's right hand. (Romans 8:34) I Believe in and partake of the Lord's table of remembrance, Holy Communion. (1 Corinthians 11:23-31) I Believe The Word is profitable for Doctrine, for reproof, for correction, and for training in right living. (2 Timothy 3:16-17) I Believe The Word is ALIVE and POWERFUL. (Hebrews 4:12) I Believe Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. (Romans 10:17) I Believe The Love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit. (Romans 5:5) I Believe The Holy Spirit will produce fruit in a Believer's life. (Galatians 5:22-23) The following is a list of Bible words that is often quoted and commonly used by a believer or "church goers", without being in general agreement or understanding about what they mean to an non- believer who yet does not understand or familiar with the true definition of the words. I want to list "what I believe" these words mean, so that hopefully we can ALL be in agreement about God's Word together, and Christ be exalted through our attitudes and behavior. SALVATION: A gift from God through the shed blood of Jesus, to ALL who believe. It includes eternal life, health, prosperity, peace, safety, companionship, success, and blessings in all forms. RIGHTEOUSNESS: Your "right-ness" or right standing with God, because of what Christ Jesus has done for us; AND your God-given ability, through the Power of the Holy Spirit, to live by God's right way of doing things. GRACE: God's gift of favor with you, even though you've done nothing to deserve it! AND, God's willingness to use His Power to work on your behalf. AND, the ability from God to be ALL He created you to be! MERCY: God's kind, compassionate, patience towards us when we "fall short" of His standards. It's by God's mercy that we are not consumed! FORGIVENESS: To completely pardon someone for a wrong done, releasing them from the obligation of making restitution, and then going on with the relationship as if no wrong had ever happened! That IS how God forgives us, isn't it?! We are imitators of God! FAITH: Belief that is not based on proof; Trust and confidence. LOVE: A choice to prefer, nurture, be loyal to, and bear up with others unconditionally, especially those in the family of faith. HOPE: To earnestly expect something good to happen, and then patiently wait for it to come. PEACE: A calm assurance that all is well, and in God's hands, no matter what the circumstances appear to be. THANKSGIVING: Thanking God for what He has provided. PRAISE: Giving God credit for all He has done, and for how it was done. WORSHIP: Total adoration and admiration of Who God is; Putting God first, above all else. GLORY: The power and majesty of God made manifest in a tangible way. |
